Accounts and sign-in

FeatureImg allows users to create an account and sign in. If you sign in using email and password, we use Supabase Auth to manage authentication.

If you choose to sign in with Google, FeatureImg uses Google Sign-In through Supabase Auth.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, FeatureImg may access basic Google account information provided through the Google authentication process, such as:

• your Google account email address;
• a Google account identifier used to authenticate your account.

FeatureImg uses this Google user data only to:

• create or sign you into your FeatureImg account;
• identify your account during future visits;
• display your account email inside FeatureImg;
• connect your account to FeatureImg features, such as account status, billing status, or future saved work.

FeatureImg does not use Google user data to train AI models. FeatureImg does not sell Google user data. FeatureImg does not share Google user data with advertisers or third-party marketing services.

FeatureImg only uses Google user data for authentication and account-related functionality.

How Google user data is stored

Google sign-in data is handled through Supabase Auth. Basic account information may be stored in FeatureImg's Supabase database, such as your user ID, email address, account creation time, and subscription status.

We store this information only as needed to operate your account and provide access to FeatureImg features.

How Google user data is shared

FeatureImg does not sell or rent Google user data.

Google user data may be processed by service providers that help operate FeatureImg, such as Supabase for authentication and database services. These providers process data only as needed to provide infrastructure and account functionality.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, security, and integrity of FeatureImg and its users.

What stays on your device

The editor runs in your browser. Image rendering and export happen locally in the browser using client-side rendering.

Images you upload for local preview, such as product images or cover images, are used to render the preview in your browser. They are not uploaded to FeatureImg servers for storage unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.

Downloads and usage telemetry

When configured, FeatureImg may record basic server-side telemetry when an export or download is attempted. This may include information such as:

• selected format;
• selected template;
• source page;
• export success or failure;
• error summaries;
• approximate content length fields, such as title length or subtitle length.

Telemetry does not include your exported image file, uploaded image bytes, full article text, or full design content.

If telemetry is unavailable, exports should still work. Telemetry should not block downloads.

Content you enter

Text, titles, subtitles, labels, uploaded images, or other content you place into FeatureImg are your responsibility. Do not use FeatureImg to create unlawful, infringing, misleading, or harmful content.

Analytics

FeatureImg may use privacy-conscious analytics or Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as page visits, referrers, device type, and general interaction patterns.

Analytics data is used to improve FeatureImg's templates, formats, backgrounds, and editing experience.

Billing

If FeatureImg offers paid plans, billing may be handled by a third-party payment processor such as Stripe. FeatureImg does not store your full payment card details on its own servers.

Billing providers may process payment information according to their own privacy policies.

Data retention

FeatureImg keeps account and subscription information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain business records.

You may contact us to request account deletion or ask questions about your data.

Data security

FeatureImg uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account data. However, no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Children

FeatureImg is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
